Terms of Purchase

Effective March 19, 2026. These terms govern one-time platform package purchases made through OwnYourOps checkout, including selected package modifiers and delivery services.

Purchase model: OwnYourOps sells a one-time platform delivery. It is not an ongoing managed service unless you separately purchase a service such as Launch Assist, Managed Install, or a maintenance plan.

What you are buying

Your order includes the package, modifiers, and delivery services shown in checkout. Depending on the package selected, deliverables may include generated Terraform, Helm, CI/CD configuration, deployment documentation, and the included self-deploy container.

What is not included unless selected

  • Managed deployment execution.
  • Ongoing maintenance after the included support window.
  • Custom architecture expansion work outside the package and selected add-ons.
  • Third-party infrastructure, domain, DNS, cloud, or SaaS usage charges.

Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate project inputs and environment requirements.
  • Provide access, credentials, and approvals needed for deployment or review.
  • Maintain control of your AWS account, DNS provider, and other third-party accounts unless a separate service arrangement says otherwise.
  • Review generated outputs and deployment instructions before applying them in production.

Ownership of deliverables

After full payment, you own the customer-specific generated deliverables for the purchased project. OwnYourOps retains rights in the website, trademarks, platform software, templates, and pre-existing materials used to generate those deliverables.

Maintenance and upgrades

Every paid package currently includes a 90-day maintenance window. After that period, maintenance is optional. Maintenance includes standard version upgrades for projects that remain verified against the delivered baseline. Major customizations, new architecture expansions, or manual migration work may require a separate quote.

Compliance and security features

Compliance and security hardening features help implement technical controls, but they do not constitute legal advice, regulatory certification, or an independent audit. You remain responsible for your organization’s legal and compliance determinations.

Refunds

Refund eligibility for the initial package purchase is governed by the 30-Day Deployment Guarantee. Any material conditions, exclusions, and customer cooperation requirements are described there.

Electronic acceptance

By proceeding through checkout, you agree that OwnYourOps may store the accepted terms version, guarantee version, timestamp, and related purchase records electronically as part of the transaction record.
